To fix this error, simply expand the column width by dragging and scrolling the cursor to accommodate all the characters within a cell. Drag the column header until the error disappears. The same is true for the negative date and time. You can adjust the typed date and time of the cell. If the issue remains consistent, then change the size of the cell individually. 
  2. #DIV/0!: This error is displayed when you divide the number by 0. Excel doesn’t define the formula for dividing by 0. It prints the error message “#DIV/0!” to show a value of 0 is present in the fraction’s denominator within the function. But how can you fix this problem? There is only one way to remove this error: avoid dividing the number by zero. If you have to do this, then use the IFERROR function. Iferror is the best alternative to show the result according to your choice. The function prints a custom message of error “#DIV/0!”
  3. #N/A!: When Excel can’t find the value of the function the formula is referencing, then it displays the message “#N/A.” This occurs when the table has extra characters, spaces, or incomplete data. To fix this problem, double-check the spelling of the value referenced by the formula. 
  4. #NAME!: when the Excel can’t read the part of your formula. If the word is misspeel, then it will indicate the error “#NAME.” To remove the error, go to the problem and check the spelling of all the elements used in the formula.
  5. #NULL!: This error appears when numerous spaces are used within the formula. Most of the issues are caused by using a comma, a comma, and a colon. The spaces indicate the range intersect operator, while the comma combines two references, whereas a colon references a range of cells. There should be no accidental spaces in the formula. If you are using the spaces, make sure you are referring to the correct spaces. 
  6. #REF!: The # REF! error occurs when the formula has the reference of the deleted cell. To fix this issue, click on the undo option or click ctrl+z (the shortcut key to undo). 
  7. #VALUE!: Excel shows the #Value error when the function is expected to refer to a number but it is referring to characters, text, or spaces. Excel easily distinguishes between text and numerical values, so check the cell for numerical instead of text to solve this error. 
  8. #SPILL!: When a function has multiple values, those values are placed in the next consecutive cell. Just take an example: =SORT(D2:D8,1,-1). This function will sort an array in descending order. It will be long, equivalent to 10 rows.
